Sale flyers

I know that this bad economy is not a good thing, but one thing that I do enjoy from it is the sale flyers. The deals right now are amazing! Check out this one for a radio that runs on batteries, solar power, and a hand crank. How cool is that? I live in upstate New York, and power does go out sometimes. This thing has a flashlight on it too. A smart thing to have, and at this price maybe one in the car and one in the house? Okay, going to run and grab 'em before the next snowstorm comes :).

Get away!!!

I love my family very much, but I would certainly enjoy an overnight alone, all by myself, with peace and quiet! I'm not talking about Vegas vacations with the works, but just a night at a local cheapie hotel. It doesn't even need a t.v., because I'll be reveling in the silence. But, not happening anytime real soon, so I'll listen to the noise that I know someday I'll miss, and hide in the bathroom for two minute breaks, and press on. This is a season that will all too soon pass!

YEAHH!!!!!

Yeahhhhh!! I just spent an hour with my vacuum chasing down the dust bunnies who have set up shop in our house. I don't keep a super clean house, but I vacuum a little obsessively. Cat and dog hair just yuck me out. I don't too often, however, break out the vacuum want and really crawl around, sucking those little bunny families out from under furniture and such. Today, however, I did it! I feel a sense of accomplishment, and in a twisted way that only a mom who very rarely has an hour to clean would understand, it was kind of fun :).

A month?

A month since I've been on here - really?!?!? I can't believe how much quicker time seems to fly here each year!! It makes me realize so much more that we need to live each day well, wasting not a moment!!!!
